Our Love: An Island Adventure

Welcome to the delightful tale of Lisa and Brian, both decided that St. John was the answer to life, the universe, and everything! Twelve years ago, Lisa, a cute blonde with a knack for island vibes, stumbled onto this slice of paradise and thought, "Yep, I’m staying!" She quickly found herself at Aqua Bistro, where she met the Olson family, who became her second family—whether they liked it or not. Then, enter Brian, the adventurous dude from New Jersey who rolled the dice and ended up at Aqua Bistro where he couldn't help but notice Lisa, the gorgeous waitress who had already claimed the island. Sparks flew faster than a hurricane warning, and before they knew it, they were inseparable—proving that love, like a good cocktail, can flourish even amidst a storm!

Things to know about our island:
-
Uber and Lyft do not exist down here. Taxi services are available but difficult to get a hold of especially in Coral Bay.
-
Renting a jeep or vehicle is highly suggested. Try and rent from St. John and not St. Thomas.
-
Reef safe sunscreen only! Avoid aerosol/spray sunscreens.
-
The sun is really strong down here. Sun shirts and covers ups as well as hats are important.
-
Weather is unpredictable here. Usually it's gorgeous but rain does come and go. No need for umbrellas maybe just a light rain coat/jacket. No rain no rainbows!
-
Temperature wise the lows are in the mid 70's and the high's are in the mid 80's. Maybe one pair of long pants. (Brian does not ever wear pants!) (He wears shorts, get your head out of the gutter.)
-
Most villas provide regular towels and beach towels so no need to bring them.
-
Bugs! They do exists. We have mosquitos, a little bug spray does the trick. No-see-ums (little flying teeth) come out around dusk and are tiny and hard to see (hence the name), a little coconut oil or an oily lotion should work.
-
Almost every restaurant is open air.
